Cyber Safe Education is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping students across Australia stay safe online. Its charitable activities aim to educate, support, and empower young people, families, and schools to prevent harm and promote responsible digital habits. Our mission is to "Provide fun, engaging cyber safety presentations to students around Australia to protect themselves and others from online threats"
Key initiatives include delivering
Subsidised cyber safety presentations to schools in disadvantaged or remote communities, ensuring equal access to life-saving digital education. Cyber Safe creates
school resource kits —including lesson plans, posters, and activity sheets—offered at no cost to support ongoing classroom learning.
To extend its impact beyond students
Cyber Safe Education hosts parent workshops that teach families how to guide their children safely through the digital world. It also runs teacher professional development sessions to equip educators with up-to-date strategies to manage online risks in the classroom.
Youth Ambassador Program
Empowers student leaders to run peer-to-peer awareness campaigns, building a culture of safety from within schools. Creative student-led competitions and hackathons further engage young people in spreading digital safety messages through posters, videos, and tech solutions.
Engages in Research & Advocacy
Partnering with education and government bodies to influence policy and improve online safety frameworks.
All our activities align with our charities mission to provide fun, engaging cyber safety education that protects students and empowers schools, families, and communities across Australia.
